CERN has a fellowship programme in which it hosts up to 600 persons with a Master or a PhD and is applying to the EU COFUND scheme. The European Union is encouraging the mobility of researchers between sectors (research laboratories and industry, for example). As a consequence, CERN would like to encourage some of these COFUND fellows go to the industry for up to 12 months.

During their stay outside CERN, they would continue being fully employed by CERN and would receive their full salary and social protection (pension fund, health insurance).

We would like to attach to the application to the COFUND scheme letters of intent of companies that would be interested in welcoming CERN fellows.
